1940. Jeanne “Janot” Reichenbach leaves behind her husband and son to link her destiny to the tragic fate of the man she has been in love with since her adolescence when he is threatened by the menace of the Vichy regime and its collaboration with the Nazis. She will cross across Europe and sacrifice her freedom to marry the man she loves in the Buchenwald camp where he will be locked up, and with him she will survive this ordeal. That man is Léon Blum.
