SUNDAY, MARCH 29 – 3:20 PM – 2H17 – ALL AUDIENCES
Presentation by and discussion with actress Josiane Balasko and Dr. R. Andrew Chesnut (Bishop Walter F. Sullivan Chair in Catholic Studies at VCU)
Alexandre lives in Lyon with his wife and children. One day he learns by chance that the priest who abused him when he was in boy-scouts is still working with children. He decides to take action and is soon joined by two other victims of the priest, François and Emmanuel, two other victims of this same priest.
They band together to lift the burden of silence surrounding their ordeal. But the repercussions and consequences will leave no one unscathed. Based on a true story, still unfolding in France today.
